ONGOING LOCAL SERVICE PROJECTS

P.I.N. MINISTRY
The P.I.N. (People In Need) Ministry at Providence is funded by a separate offering taken up each week at Providence. These funds are collected in little metal buckets and directly go to those in our community who are in need.

BLESSING BOXES
The Blessing Boxes in the front of the church parking lot are designed as a local food bank to the residents who surround our church.  These boxes are open to anyone wanting to donate non-perishable items and any who are needing food to get them by.

COMFORT MINISTRY
Calling all who crochet or knit, your help is needed!  Providence has a long standing tradition of crafting beautiful blankets of all shapes, sizes and colors to distribute to those who are experiencing health concerns and may even be hospital bound.  These blankets are prayed for during the crafting process and also prayed for collectively during the morning Sunday service.  Where there is nothing magical about these blankets it brings comfort to those who receive them that they are being lifted up while they walk through a difficult season.

COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECTS & WORLD MISSIONS

Providence values filling needs in the community through service projects and sending groups on national and world missions.  Currently there are no service projects or mission trips planned but if you know of a need or would like to lead a mission trip please let us know by emailing Pastor, Steve Rose today!
